Job Title: Dental Care Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate dental care professional to join our multidisciplinary team at Neighborhood Health Center - WNY. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care to diverse individuals and families in a fulfilling and rewarding work environment.

Job Summary:

This is a challenging and dynamic role that requires a dentist with strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a team-based setting.

You will be responsible for providing direct patient care, supervising dental hygienists, and assisting the dental director in formulating policies and procedures.

In addition, you will attend in-services and trainings to enhance your professional growth and development, share on-call coverage with other staff dentists, and adhere to universal precautions and infection control standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to a diverse patient population
  • Supervise dental hygienists and authorized treatment
  • Assist the dental director in formulating policies and procedures
  • Attend in-services and trainings to enhance professional growth and development
  • Share on-call coverage with other staff dentists
  • Adhere to universal precautions and infection control standards
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited dental school
  • NYS Professional Dentist license with a minimum of one year experience in a general dental setting
  • Experience working with electronic dental record systems preferred
  • Able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and manage deadlines well
  • Able to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships
Compensation:

$138,000 annual salary (based on a full-time, 40 hour work week)

Individual compensation is based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other position-related components.

This position qualifies for a sign-on bonus to be paid incrementally throughout the successful employee's first year.

Tuition reimbursement potential available through our FQHC status, with a three-year commitment required.
