Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description

Host Healthcare is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Beloit, Wisconsin.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including preparing patients for imaging procedures, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including administering medications and positioning patients for optimal imaging results.
  • Operate imaging equipment, including PET and SPECT scanners, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures, including imaging results and any complications that may arise.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including radiologists and nurses, to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
  • Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or Registered Technologist (RT) in Nuclear Medicine.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine, with a strong background in imaging procedures and patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records, with a strong attention to detail.
