Palmetto Family Homecare is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant to work part-time in the Columbia area.

The ideal candidate will provide elderly companionship, support with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), light housekeeping, and meal preparation for our clients.

This role requires reliability, dependability, and excellent communication skills. We offer a benefit package that includes:

Compensation

$12.00 - $15.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Benefits

Weekly pay, shift differential pay, direct deposit, vacation time, paid holidays, paid training, and opportunities for full or part-time work.

Responsibilities

Assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as light housekeeping and meal preparation.

Requirements

HHA, PCA, or CNA certification preferred; at least one year of documented caregiver experience.

Must be reliable, dependable, and able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull. Varied assistance required depending on client mobility.
