Key Responsibilities:
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Executing a range of pharmacy operations while adhering to established policies and procedures.
- Collaborating with a licensed pharmacist and functioning independently when required.
- Managing drug orders from nursing stations and preparing medications under pharmacist supervision.
- Delivering medications to designated patient areas accurately.
- Assisting with billing and crediting processes for patient medications.
- Maintaining pharmacy inventory in compliance with the Drug Formulary, including ordering and receiving supplies.
- Monitoring medication administration and maintaining accurate records for controlled substances.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of OH (note: 'Registered' Pharmacy Technician certification is insufficient).
