We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Intensivist to join our team at Ascension Seton Northwest in Austin, Texas.

About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity that requires a Registered Nurse with experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) settings. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to patients, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and serving as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, including medication administration and wound care.
  • Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, working closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration:
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Advanced Life Support preferred.

Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is $83,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
