Job Overview

Skill State LLC is seeking a skilled IT Field Technician to join our team. As a Field Tech, you will play a crucial role in completing installations and providing support at client locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure new PC hardware and software on desktops, laptops, and peripherals
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software problems
  • Develop and deploy hard drive images and support users in a virtual desktop environment
  • Perform basic computer wired and wireless network troubleshooting
  • Develop and document job processes, procedures, and techniques
  • Maintain proficiency in PC technical fields of expertise
  • Track and maintain equipment inventories
  • Test new hardware and software

Requirements:

  • Extensive hardware repair experience
  • Software installation experience
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Field tech support work experience
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment
  • Ability to work a Monday to Friday schedule with occasional on-call weekends
  • Bilingual in Hindi is a plus
