We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team as a Mobile Imaging Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing portable x-ray exams in various settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and patient locations.
Key Responsibilities- Travel to patient locations to perform portable x-ray exams, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services.
- Operate portable radiologic equipment, positioning patients for exams, and determining exposure factors as needed.
- Collect and verify patient information, order documentation, and other required data prior to procedures.
- Prepare and position patients for exams, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
- Process and transmit images, maintaining high-quality diagnostic images for radiologists and physicians.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless delivery of services, maintaining effective communication and relationships.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment, troubleshooting issues as needed, and adhering to company protocols.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, adhering to local, state, and federal regulations, and maintaining proficiency in company systems and technology.
- Meet state-specific and federal requirements for portable x-ray exams, including registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
- Hold a valid state-issued driver's license and maintain a good driving record.
- Ability to move or lift equipment up to 50 pounds, walk up and down stairs easily, and work a varied schedule, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
