About the Role

Brosnan Risk Consultants is seeking a highly skilled and reliable Security Officer to join our team in a flexible part-time capacity. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of our clients' properties and personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Observe and report any suspicious activities or incidents at assigned client sites
  • Make periodic patrols to check for irregularities and inspect protection devices and fire control equipment
  • Preserve order and enforce regulations and directives for the site regarding personnel, visitors, and premises
  • Control access to client sites or facilities through the admittance process
  • Patrol assigned sites on foot or in vehicle to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, and security violations
  • Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations
  • Respond to fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents
  • Prepare logs and reports as required
Requirements
  • Meet city/state requirements and/or certifications to perform guard duties
  • Have a High School Diploma or GED
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have reliable means of communication
  • Have reliable transportation
  • Have a Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports

Brosnan Risk Consultants offers a competitive hourly rate of $19.50 per hour. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking for a second or third income, retired, or seeking employment outside the standard full-time or part-time availability. Shifts are available on a flexible schedule, and you will be paid a premium rate to cover shifts when you are available.
