Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Plumbing Instructor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and teaching Plumbing Technology courses, conducting labs, and supervising students.
Key Responsibilities- Teach assigned theory and lab classes, planning daily activities for students and supervising their work.
- Instruct and evaluate students in plumbing technology courses, including instruction in shop safety.
- Maintain a safe worksite and enforce Ranken's safety standards.
- Assist in the maintenance of lab and classroom equipment.
- Collaborate with management to develop curriculum and syllabi, schedule classes, and manage budgets.
- Participate in college governance, committee work, student advising, and other duties as assigned.
- Stay current in plumbing technology through available training and professional development opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
This is a part-time, non-exempt position. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in plumbing technology and excellent teaching and communication skills.
