About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Audiologist to join our team at QTC Company in Honolulu, HI. As an Audiologist Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and interpret various tests to determine the type and degree of hearing impairment, including air and bone conduction, and speech reception and discrimination tests.
  • Evaluate test results in relation to behavioral, social, educational, and medical record reviews of past audiograms and documents to determine the likely cause of the hearing loss, and to state the prognosis and address the issues of hearing loss and tinnitus.
  • Operate computerized programs and utilize application software and databases to enter, modify, and access information into/from electronic medical records, and utilize report writing formats.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality with written and verbal information per HIPAA.
  • Conduct otoscopic examinations, cerumen management, and calibration checks of audiometric equipment.
  • Lead paraprofessional staff training for Audiology specific skills and certifications as required by all LOB.
  • Completion of Veterans Benefits Administration Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQs).
  • Travel up to 50% to provide audiology examinations for clients in multiple locations throughout the country.
Requirements
  • Doctorate Degree in Audiology from an accredited college or university.
  • Current unrestricted Audiologist license in the state where you will be employed.
  • American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and/or American Academy of Audiology (AAA) certification prior to hire. Reimbursement provided for selected candidates.
  • 3+ years of clinic practice experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain government clearances (LARS, Public Trust, NACI, etc.) as required.
  • Ability to pass a medical clearance consisting of passing an N95 respirator fit test, properly wearing organizational standard respiratory protective equipment as required, passing a Tuberculosis/TB test, and receiving a Hepatitis A/B vaccine series or passing a Hepatitis A/B Titer test and other medical clearances/vaccinations as required.
  • Ability to earn and maintain clinical training/certifications as required by current and future contracts.
