Electrical Estimator

Panhandle Power Solutions LLC, an Alaska Native-owned company, is seeking an Electrical Estimator to support its estimating department. The successful candidate will work closely with the proposal team to generate and submit RFIs for proposals, review RFP documents, and gain a thorough understanding of specifications and design drawings.

• Electrical takeoffs using estimating software, generation of the electrical construction estimate, and estimate breakout onto client-provided bid forms.
• Works with Preconstruction Manager and other stakeholders to input subcontractor pricing and general requirements costs into the project estimate.
• Primarily responsible for estimated material procurement communications (quote requests), and supplier coordination.
• Develops high-level project schedules via Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 to support proposal packages.
• Ensures the overall accuracy, completeness, and competitiveness of cost estimate.

• High school diploma or general education degree required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience as a commercial electrical estimator.
• Strong proficiency of Accubid Anywhere software preferred, but not required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

• 10+ years of relevant experience as a commercial electrical estimator.
• Experience with electrical construction or estimating on federal installations is preferred, but not required.

• Competitive salary range: $75,000 - $120,000 (knowledge, skill, and experience dependent).
• Remote, hybrid, or in-office position (Destin, FL or Wenatchee, WA).
