We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to provide in-home care to our clients in North and South Charlotte. As a Caregiver with HomeWell Care Services, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Companionship and Conversation: Provide emotional support and engage in conversation with clients to help alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and using the bathroom.
  • Light Housekeeping: Perform tasks such as laundry, linen changing, and light housekeeping to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment.
  • Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals for clients, taking into account any dietary restrictions or preferences.
  • Medication Reminders: Assist clients with taking their medications as prescribed by their healthcare provider.
  • Transportation: Provide transportation to and from appointments, errands, and other activities.
  • Education and Training: Help family members learn safe care techniques and provide education on how to care for their loved ones.
Requirements
  • Treatment of Clients: Treat clients with dignity and respect, and provide a safe and supportive environment.
  • Interpretation of Client Plans: Interpret and implement the client's provided plan of care, ensuring that their needs are met and their preferences are respected.
  • Transportation and Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable in response to changing situations and client needs.
  • Communication: Be able to communicate effectively with clients, family members, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Lifting and Physical Demands: Be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds and perform physical tasks as required by the job.
