Job Overview

The Occupational Health Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Occupational Health clinic. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to apply core competencies to supervise employee care, personnel issues, fiscal operations, performance improvement, and program development.

About the Role

This position involves providing strategic leadership while ensuring the efficient operation of the Occupational Health clinic. The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Nursing and at least 7 years of experience in a relevant field. Certification as a COHN or COHN-S through the American Board of Occupational Health Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Clinical Services Supervisor is accountable for managing the day-to-day activities of the Occupational Health clinic. Key responsibilities include supervising staff, developing operational policies, managing budgets, and implementing quality improvement initiatives. The successful candidate must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders including employees, management, and external partners.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have a RN licensure in the jurisdiction of the participating organization where assigned, NP certification in the same jurisdiction, a Master's degree from an accredited school of nursing, and completion of an accredited NP program in the area of specialty. A minimum of 7 years of experience in occupational health nursing is also required. Preference will be given to candidates with certification as a COHN or COHN-S through the American Board of Occupational Health Nursing.
