A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, aviation sciences, quality systems, or equivalent technical experience is essential.

Position Objective:

The role involves providing technical assistance in investigating identified Quality concerns under the supervision of a QAEII. The Quality Assurance Engineer will implement strategies and directives in alignment with departmental policies. This position is responsible for identifying root causes and corrective measures for recognized Quality issues utilizing the 8D methodology, validated by the audit team. Compliance with all relevant regulations is mandatory, alongside fostering positive relationships with local regulatory bodies. The goal is to ensure a safe, compliant, and high-quality product is delivered to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Essential Duties:

  • Ensure investigations into Quality concerns are performed according to departmental protocols and work guidelines.
  • Proactively identify and execute process enhancement projects aimed at improving the quality or efficiency of Quality operations.
  • Maintain a high level of satisfaction among customers, both internal and external.
  • Collaborate with various departments and disciplines.
  • Establish and uphold a FOD-free environment.
  • Implement company policies and procedures; develop new protocols as necessary.
  • Encourage and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Support the operational priorities as outlined by the Quality leadership team.
  • Perform other assigned duties as required.

Other Qualifications:

  • An Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License may be accepted in conjunction with 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of the degree requirement.
  • ASQ certification (CQE) and/or experience as a FAA recognized airworthiness designee is highly desirable.
  • Ability to identify issues, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Capacity to understand manufacturing processes (e.g., Assembly, Machining, Special Process, Inspection, etc.).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Proficient in computer skills.
