Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Scientific Researcher to provide scientific and technical expertise in support of research initiatives within the Division of Intramural Research (DIR) at the National Heart Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI). This role focuses on advancing cardiovascular intervention research. The main objective is to innovate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) methodologies and reconstruction techniques, along with exploring new applications of electromagnetics in diagnostic and interventional imaging. This position is a full-time, on-site opportunity.

  • Innovate and develop advanced magnetic resonance imaging methodologies.
  • Enhance designs for magnetic resonance imaging hardware coils.
  • Revise and improve magnetic resonance imaging reconstruction methodologies.
  • Create new devices for interventional magnetic resonance imaging.


Qualifications:

  • PhD or equivalent degree.
  • A minimum of six (6) years of experience in MRI interventions.
  • Expertise in Interventional Cardiology.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of magnetic resonance technology.
