Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Housekeeping Aide to join our team at Woodbrook Assisted Living Residence. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facility, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces.
  • Wash, dry, and fold resident laundry, as well as facility laundry.
  • Restock supplies and maintain work carts.
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues to the Head Housekeeper or Maintenance Director.
  • Complete Quality Assurance checklists prior to resident move-ins.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, visitors, and staff.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English.
  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
Physical Demands
  • Regularly speak, see, or hear.
  • Frequently sit, stand, walk, use fingers to handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally lift, move, push, carry, or pull up to 25 pounds.
