Housekeeping Attendant Position at SpringHill Suites Cheraw

As a Housekeeping Attendant at SpringHill Suites Cheraw, you will be essential in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our guests during their stay.

Your responsibilities will include ensuring the overall appearance of the hotel, particularly guest rooms, by adhering to proper cleaning and restocking protocols.

This is a full-time role located in Cheraw, South Carolina, reporting directly to the Housekeeping Manager.

Compensation & Benefits:
The hourly wage for this position ranges from $10 to $12, with biweekly payments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms in accordance with hotel standards, including changing linens, making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and restocking supplies.
  • Ensure public areas of the hotel, such as hallways and the lobby, are clean and well-organized.
  • Restock housekeeping carts and storage areas with necessary supplies and amenities.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the Housekeeping Manager.
  • Respond to guest requests and feedback in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Exhibit a welcoming and professional demeanor when interacting with guests.
  • Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure and hygienic work environment.
  • Complete assigned deep cleaning tasks on a scheduled basis.
  • Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning procedures accurately.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning products and chemicals.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact courteously with guests and coworkers.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
