Job Title: Fleet Attendant

Starship Technologies Inc is revolutionizing deliveries with autonomous robots. Our robots are designed to deliver food, groceries, and packages across college campuses and neighborhoods in minutes. With millions of autonomous deliveries completed to date, we're making a significant impact on society by reducing congestion, pollution, and increasing the quality of life for residents.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Clean and detail our robot fleet to ensure they look great, inside and out.
  • Responsible for operational service, ensuring robots are in service, sanity, and fully charged.
  • Deploy robots to or return from service areas as needed with clean liners and all necessary equipment.
  • Transport robots to delivery areas by ebike or foot, which may include occasional lifting of up to 70 lbs.
  • Perform weekly Merchant Preflights to understand any service-related issues and provide operational and general troubleshooting assistance.
  • Assist robots in unexpected situations across the campus and report any issues to the onsite team.
Technical Tasks:
  • Help sustain the health of the robots through basic maintenance and troubleshooting in the field and in the hub.
  • Maintain our hub-based warehouse and conduct regular inventories.
  • Remote training will be provided upon completion of hiring/onboarding for one week, followed by onsite training with a Robot Technician, Operations Manager, or designated Trainer.
Requirements:
  • Excited to work with robots and technology.
  • Independent and able to take initiative in unexpected situations.
  • Excellent in spoken and written communication in English.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools or willingness to learn.
  • Availability for weekend shifts, morning, and/or evening shifts are highly preferred.
