Key Responsibilities:- Travel to various locations within a 60-mile radius to observe student performance and provide guidance.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with healthcare organizations and students.
- Communicate effectively with students, preceptors, and the Office of Field Experience to ensure a seamless learning experience.
- Provide additional support and resources to students during contracted weeks, utilizing phone, email, and collaborative problem-solving.
- Encourage learner responsibility and autonomy in the field experience.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and supply them to the Course Faculty.
- Apply evaluation procedures and provide results to the Course Faculty.
- Ensure compliance with program accreditation requirements.
- Up hold the principles of nursing as a holistic profession and the University's mission.
- Participate in and support the University's programs, demonstrating congruence with the institution's philosophy and direction.
- MSN: Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP/AGACNP)
- Minimum of two years of professional experience in an ACNP or AGACNP role
- Active, current, and unencumbered ACNP/AGACNP state license
- Active, current, unencumbered, and multi-state (compact) RN license
- National board certification - ACNP/AGACNP specific
- Pass a drug test
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with students
