Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Analog/Mixed-Signal Circuit Design Engineer to join our team at Apple. As a member of our multifaceted group, you will have the unique opportunity to shape upcoming products that will delight and inspire millions of Apple's customers every day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-performance PHY circuits, collaborating with Platform Architecture, Logic Designers, SIPI, Layout, DV, and Timing Teams.
  • Work with Layout Teams to implement industry-leading PHY designs.
  • Develop transistor-level Analog/Mixed-Signal Circuit Designs.
  • Generate block/chip level specifications and perform block level verification to meet performance, power, and area specifications.
  • Participate in establishing Design Methodologies to ensure correct, by construction designs.
Requirements
  • Proven understanding of all aspects of Analog/Mixed Signal Circuit Design of PHYs, including TX, RX, Delay Locked Loops, Phase Interpolators, Delay Lines, Duty Cycle Correctors, and reference generators.
  • Knowledge of Basic SoC Architecture and HDL languages like Verilog to collaborate with logic design teams.
  • Solid understanding of Circuit Verification tools, including Simulators, Extraction, EMIR, Noise, SigEM, etc.
  • BS degree in a technical discipline with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
