Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at MasTec Industrial. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on concrete surfaces, including floors, walls, and ceilings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Levelling and finishing concrete surfaces to meet project specifications
  • Reading and interpreting project plans, blueprints, and measuring tools to perform tasks accurately
  • Operating power tools and equipment, including power vibrators and trowels
  • Inspecting finished concrete work to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Monitoring temperature effects on concrete and positioning molds and forms
  • Applying hardening agents, sealants, and curing agents to concrete surfaces
  • Installing anchor bolts, steel plates, and other fixtures in freshly poured concrete
  • Mixing and pouring concrete to meet project specifications
  • Performing finishing techniques to achieve a specified finish
  • Saw cutting concrete and inspecting finished work
  • Directing equipment drivers and trucks, and assisting with other tasks as needed
Requirements
  • Minimum of four years' experience in concrete finishing
  • Knowledge of MIC Health and Safety programs and project-specific regulations
  • Ability to work at heights and wear personal protective equipment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production schedule pressures
