Job Summary

The Saugus Union School District is seeking a highly qualified Dual Language Immersion Teacher to join our team. As a key member of our educational community, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing curriculum for our Dual Language Immersion program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning and growth of the Dual Language Immersion program, including curriculum development and community outreach.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create engaging and effective lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners to support the growth and development of the Dual Language Immersion program.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in bilingual education and make recommendations for program improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field.
  • Valid California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential with BCLAD or equivalent.
  • Two letters of recommendation from supervisors, dated within the past 12 months.
  • Unofficial transcripts are acceptable for the application submission, official required upon offer of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a Dual Language Immersion setting.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
