This position entails the management of receiving, storing, shipping, and delivering Quality Air tools, supplies, equipment, and materials to various locations in a safe, organized, and timely manner. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Material Handling: Utilize hands, dollies, and/or forklifts to load, move, stack, stage, transport, and unload tools, supplies, and equipment onto and off delivery vehicles, pallets, shelves, or floors. This includes the movement of items into and out of the warehouse and to various job sites.
  • Transportation: Safely deliver goods using company vehicles to designated locations, assisting with unloading at delivery points.
  • Package Distribution: Allocate received packages to the appropriate personnel as instructed.
  • Warehouse Upkeep: Ensure a tidy and organized workspace by performing cleaning, trash removal, and other housekeeping tasks.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Clean and maintain department vehicles to ensure optimal operating condition.
  • Scrap Handling: Aid in the collection, delivery, and processing of scrap materials, adhering to established procedures.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Carry out other tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Driver's License: A valid Michigan driver's license with a clean driving history is essential.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with mechanical, plumbing, and electrical projects, along with related tools and equipment.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and clients.
  • Customer Service: Strong customer service skills to ensure a positive experience during deliveries and interactions.
  • Safety Compliance: Keen attention to safety protocols and regulations in all tasks.
  • Work Environment: Willingness to work efficiently in both indoor and outdoor settings, with flexibility for occasional weekend shifts.
