Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about their professional development and eager to contribute to a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct and/or evaluate stability analyses, reinforced concrete design, and steel design for various hydraulic structures, including dams and spillways.
  • Prepare and/or assess design drawings, reports, and technical specifications.
  • Perform inspections of hydraulic structures and dams.
  • Provide ongoing construction observation and consultation.
  • Manage and coordinate tasks and projects effectively.
  • Guide and mentor junior structural engineering staff.
Qualifications:
  • A strong work ethic and a commitment to high professional standards.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • Professional Engineering license or the ability to obtain reciprocity upon employment.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in structural engineering.
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Experience with computer-aided structural analysis and finite element modeling.
  • Willingness to perform fieldwork and travel as needed.
  • Physical capability to lift 60 pounds and navigate construction sites under various weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Bluebeam.
  • Licensure as a Professional Structural Engineer.
  • Knowledge or experience in seismic design.
Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to pass a background check, which may include criminal history, motor vehicle record, and credit check.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment screening.
