Job Summary

The Interventional Radiology Technologist plays a crucial role in performing high-quality imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining equipment. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform interventional radiology procedures according to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures, adhering to infection control and radiation safety policies.
  • Maintain equipment and work areas to meet quality and cleanliness standards.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to patient needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited program in radiologic technology.
  • 1 year of experience in interventional radiology, preferably in a busy lab.
  • ARRT-R Radiography certification and Medical Radiologic Technologist licensure in the State of Texas.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
