Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate travel nurse RN Med Surg to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical surgical environment. As a travel nurse RN Med Surg, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and develop your clinical skills in a dynamic setting.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to medical surgical patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition of care.
- Current RN licensure in New Mexico.
- At least 1 year of experience as a medical surgical nurse.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to lift 50-100 pounds and stand for long periods.
