Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.

Responsibilities:

* Facilitate patient care by assisting the physician during surgery in the Operating Room (OR) for multiple specialties.
* Perform technical and some patient care duties under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
* Function as a clinical specialist across numerous service specialty lines.
* Assume additional responsibilities for maintaining surgical specialties as necessary and serve as a resource.

Requirements:

* High School Diploma or GED.
* Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program or LPN program.
* Surgical Tech Certification and 3 years of experience required.
* In lieu of Surgical Tech certification, 7 years of experience can be substituted for certification for a total requirement of 10 years Surgical Tech experience.
* Current GA LPN License if applicable.
* Certification as a Surgical Technologist Required or Licensed as an LPN required.
* BLS certification required.
