Academic Medicine Professor Position in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine

We are seeking a highly qualified academic medicine professor to join our faculty at Lincoln Memorial University.
About the PositionThis is a full-time, non-tenure track position that will involve teaching, clinical duties, and scientific scholarship. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching students the skills and approaches of osteopathic manipulation, providing clinical service, and contributing to the planning and evaluation of courses and academic programs.
Responsibilities- Teach osteopathic manipulation skills to students in the clinical setting
- Provide clinical service and bedside teaching to students
- Participate in clinic quality assurance and other service evaluation activities
- Generate and present lecture and lab material to prepare students for certification exams
- Serve as an example to learners and colleagues of professional behavior
- Participate in scholarly activity and contribute to the advancement of the university's programs
To be eligible for this position, applicants must have a D.O. degree and Board Certification in Primary Care Specialty. They must also be able to be licensed in Tennessee within the first year of hire date. A minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical/academic medicine teaching and leadership is preferred, along with Board Certification in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine.
