Speech-Language Pathologist Opportunity in Naperville, IL

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Naperville, IL. As an SLP, you will play a crucial role in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders in students across various age groups and educational environments.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluation and Treatment: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders, and develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals for students based on assessment results.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in groups, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' speech and language needs in educational settings.
  • Documentation and Progress Monitoring: Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with school policies and regulations, and monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with best practices, research, and trends in speech-language pathology, and participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans.
Requirements:
  • Education and Licensure: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders, and Illinois state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP.
  • Clinical Experience: Experience working with school-aged children preferred, and strong clinical skills in assessing and treating speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, students, and families.
  • Professional Growth: Commitment to professional growth and development.
