We are currently looking for an adjunct faculty member for our Imaging programs at the Nashville Campus. This role encompasses both Radiography and Diagnostic Medical Sonography programs. The ideal candidate will possess a collaborative spirit and exceptional communication and organizational abilities. The adjunct faculty member will be responsible for delivering instruction, supporting our Imaging students, and engaging with clinical staff to gather insights on student performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate clinical education through didactic instruction as designated by the program director.
  • Assess and ensure the quality of clinical experiences for students enrolled in specific modalities or specialties.
  • Assist the Clinical Coordinator/Director of Clinical Education in providing clinical instruction and documenting the evaluation and advancement of clinical competencies.
  • Foster strong connections and serve as a liaison between clinical sites and the college.
  • Design clinical rotation assignments, lesson plans, and schedules.
  • Maintain comprehensive clinical records, including grade calculations.
  • Review and update performance objectives to guarantee meaningful clinical learning experiences.
  • Initiate evaluations of clinical instructors and clinical sites by students each term.
  • Provide guidance and counseling to students as necessary.
  • Uphold high standards of teaching, scholarship, and service.
  • Travel to clinical affiliates to observe and assess student performance within the department, with flexible travel days required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • ARDMS credentials in multiple modalities are mandatory, with a preference for Abdomen and OB/GYN credentials.
  • Proficiency in curriculum development, supervision, instruction, and student counseling is essential.
  • Possession of relevant credentials specific to one or more of the offered specialties is required.
  • A minimum of two years of full-time experience as an Imaging professional is necessary.
