The Hispanic Technology Executive Council seeks a highly skilled Quantitative Risk Model Developer to join its team. As a key member of the Risk Management department, this professional will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and validating methods of measuring and analyzing risk across various domains, including market, credit, and operational risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement advanced statistical models to quantify and manage risk.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate risk models into business decisions and planning.
  • Manage and oversee the development, validation, and deployment of risk models.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in risk management and statistical modeling.
  • Communicate complex risk-related information to senior management and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in risk management, statistical modeling, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical modeling concepts, industry best practices, and risk management methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive patterns, trends, and insights from complex data sets.
  • Proficiency in analytical tools, such as SAS, SQL, R, and C programming in UNIX.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire team members and stakeholders.

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, or computer science.
