A Day in the Life of a Tax Manager
As a Tax Manager, your daily responsibilities may include:
- Preparing comprehensive tax returns for various clients, including Fiduciary and Estate Tax.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of individual and business tax returns.
- Reviewing, approving, and signing tax returns prior to client distribution.
- Mentoring junior staff to enhance their skills and support their career development.
- Collecting pertinent tax-related information from clients to facilitate accurate return preparation.
- Analyzing tax situations from multiple perspectives to maximize tax benefits.
- Building relationships and networking to attract new clients and business opportunities.
- Billing clients for services rendered and guidance provided.
Who You Are
- You possess a solid understanding of tax concepts and can articulate your tax experience, including differentiating between various tax forms.
- You stay informed about the evolving regulations and policies within the tax industry.
- You excel at problem-solving and can identify issues while proposing effective solutions.
- You take pride in assisting others and are prepared to lead a team of high-achieving professionals.
- You have diverse industry knowledge and can interpret financial statements effectively.
- You hold an active CPA license or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification, along with 5-7 years of public accounting tax experience.
- Flexible work arrangements, including hybrid or in-office options, are available.
Authorization to work in the United States is required, both now and in the future, without visa sponsorship.
Compensation and Benefits
Our compensation strategy focuses on competitive and fair pay. Eide Bailly adheres to all local and state regulations regarding salary range disclosures. Final compensation is determined by factors such as location, experience, education, skills, and internal equity.
