Job Summary

The University of Louisville is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Nurse II to join our team at the Brown Cancer Center. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for coordinating clinical research studies, ensuring compliance with research protocols and Good Clinical Practice guidelines, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate all aspects of clinical trials initiation, including protocol development, informed consent, and data management.
  • Plan and implement patient recruitment strategies to identify eligible participants.
  • Screen potential patients to determine eligibility and educate them about clinical trial details.
  • Coordinate logistics of patient visits, including scheduling and ordering tests required for protocol.
  • Organize protocol inservices for staff and data management to ensure understanding of protocol specifics.
  • Coordinate with medical staff to accurately reflect treatment orders and follow patient protocol schedules.
  • Assure accurate and timely completion of protocol data forms, including case report forms and serious adverse events.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing with current Kentucky license and two years of related research or nursing experience.
  • ACRP or SoCRA certification in Clinical Research is preferred.
  • Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification is also preferred.
What We Offer

The University of Louisville offers a competitive salary range of $65,400.00 to $98,100.00, commensurate with experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
