IP/Litigation Paralegal Specialist

Volt is seeking an experienced IP/Litigation Paralegal to join their team in Los Alamitos. This is a 100% onsite role, working Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and maintain minute books, prepare powers of attorney, proxies, written consents, Secretary's certificates, and resolutions for the company and its domestic/international subsidiaries.
- Work with Finance to obtain necessary state authorizations to do business at state and local levels.
- Manage registered agent services.
- Gather, organize, and report information from various sources within and outside the organization.
- Coordinate discovery with in-house lawyers and outside counsel.
- Coordinate with IS to ensure smooth functioning of the local area network.
- Troubleshoot network and user computer problems.
- Provide input to the selection of software, upgrades, etc.
- Serve as the primary interface to outside computer consultants.
- Perform research using online services and the internet on various topics.
- Support the department's records management program by working with Sr. Counsel and administrative staff to save and purge records according to the department's records schedule.
- Manage off-site file storage for the department and assist others around the company with this task.
- Build strong relationships with peers, other departments, and managers to best meet company goals and objectives.
- 1-2 years of corporate paralegal, litigation, and/or IP experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask.
