Rebar Fabricator

Job Summary:

Nucor Steel Auburn is seeking a skilled Rebar Fabricator to join our Production Department. As a Rebar Fabricator, you will be responsible for driving positive results in the Production Department to meet all NRF Division goals and continuously build a World-Class Rebar Fabrication facility to take care of Nucor's Customers.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate all fabrication and material handling equipment safely and effectively, including equipment to cut, bend, thread, and maneuver concrete reinforcing bar. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to NRF - Riverside appearance standards. • Execute projects to completion, working closely with Production Leads and Supervisor. • Assist with other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required. • Willingness to work unplanned, unscheduled overtime, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts. • Ability to work in extreme situations, including hot, cold, and rainy weather, dusty conditions, and a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. • Fundamental computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior fabrication experience. • Mobile equipment (forklift/overhead crane) or equivalent experience. • Self-starting, positive problem solver with initiative and enthusiasm that is motivating to others.
