Floor Technician Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our team at Southeast Airport Services, Inc. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our terminal and office floors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain all floor areas, including offices, hallways, and common areas.
  • Operate floor sweepers, scrubbers, buffers, and other equipment to ensure high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Dispose of trash and assist with hazardous waste collection.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as measuring chemicals and labeling equipment.
  • Assist with equipment maintenance and storage.
  • Report maintenance issues to supervisor.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • English language proficiency required.
  • Previous experience with floor maintenance equipment, such as buffers, waxers, and canister vacuum cleaners.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple interruptions.
  • Physical agility and ability to lift heavy equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
