Position Overview

We are in search of dynamic, creative, and enthusiastic Retail Shop Associates to join our Equinox team. This role is ideal for candidates eager to make a significant impact within a vibrant and evolving organization.


Key Responsibilities
  • Warmly greet all customers upon their arrival.
  • Provide attentive and courteous service throughout the shop, including in fitting rooms, on the sales floor, and at checkout.
  • Handle returns and exchanges with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets, both individually and as part of the store's overall goals.
  • Engage with customers to identify their needs and suggest appropriate products.
  • Communicate product information regarding quality, style, fabric, and fit effectively.
  • Encourage customers to consider additional items that may interest them.
  • Express gratitude to every customer for their visit, regardless of their purpose.
  • Complete all necessary training related to register operations and associate responsibilities.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing shop environment.
  • Utilize proper phone etiquette when interacting with customers.
  • Follow up on customer inquiries and return calls promptly.
  • Ensure all merchandise is properly folded and displayed.
  • Keep window displays updated with the latest products.
  • Organize stock areas to ensure cleanliness and order.
  • Participate in shop contests and initiatives.
  • Refer non-member customers to a Membership Advisor when appropriate.
  • Communicate effectively with the Shop Manager regarding customer service matters.
  • Collaborate effectively with all team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service or a related field.
  • High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent work experience.
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, and personable demeanor.
  • Experience in a customer service-oriented business, preferably in retail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to embrace new techniques and ideas.
  • Strong work ethic and diligence.
  • Integrity and honesty in all interactions.
  • Exceptional time management, organizational, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to perform essential physical tasks associated with the position, including standing for extended periods, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
