Elevator Worker Job Description

This is an hourly position at ADM in Hutchinson, KS. The successful candidate will be responsible for dump and load product into trucks and rail cars, operate a grain dryer, assist with grain handling, and perform general housekeeping duties. The ideal candidate will have a high school education or equivalent, be able to meet physical requirements of the position, and demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in a team setting when needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dump and load product into trucks and rail cars
  • Operate a grain dryer
  • Assist with grain handling
  • Perform general housekeeping duties
  • Perform general maintenance, as needed
Requirements:
  • Commitment to ADM's goal of achieving a zero injury culture; understand and follow company safety procedures
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Exhibit regular and prompt attendance
  • Able to meet physical requirements of the position
  • Willing to work overtime, weekends, and nights
  • Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in a team setting when needed
  • Exhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and respectful attitude
