Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Server Assistant to join our team at the Atlanta Botanical Garden. As a Server Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Table Maintenance: Clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables in the dining room, as well as cleaning and clearing the surrounding dining area.
  • Silverware Care: Polishing and rolling silverware to maintain a high level of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Water Service: Pouring initial water for service and assisting the service team in refilling water glasses.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Sweeping, mopping, and cleaning spills on an as-needed basis to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Supporting the Service Team: Assisting Front Servers with running side work tasks and preparing for service.
  • Communication and Knowledge: Maintaining effective communication between the Chef team and the Front Server team, as well as having a thorough knowledge of current food and drink menu.
  • Special Events: Assisting with special events as needed to ensure a seamless experience for our guests.

Requirements

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possessing excellent oral communication skills and being able to write in basic English.
  • Positive Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrating positive interpersonal skills and being able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Physical Demands: Frequently walking, standing, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
