Job Summary:As a Parachute Rigger in the Army National Guard, you will be responsible for the safety of personnel and equipment by packing and maintaining parachutes. This requires attention to detail and technical skills to ensure the proper functioning of parachutes and other airdrop equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Rig supplies, equipment, and vehicles for airdrop operations
• Perform technical inspections on parachutes and airdrop equipment
• Inventory, clean, receive, store, and issue airdrop equipment
• Use and maintain machines and tools for fabrication, modification, and repair of parachutes and other airdrop equipment

Requirements:
• Military enlistment in the Army National Guard
• Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED certificate
• Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
• Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
