Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Infrastructure Architect to join our team at SoundWay. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex computer systems within a hybrid cloud and non-cloud enterprise environment.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of system administration, infrastructure, and network architecture, as well as excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to conduct systems upgrades and migrations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure efficient, reliable, and optimal systems operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain complex computer systems.
  • Troubleshoot issues by identifying root causes, defining resolutions, and working to successfully resolve problems.
  • Apply a deep understanding of system administration, infrastructure, and network architecture to ensure efficient, reliable, and optimal systems operations.
  • Perform regular systems backups and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Configure and maintain network security measures, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
  • Conduct system performance analysis and capacity planning to ensure scalability.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering.
  • Minimum 9 years of experience in a Senior Systems Engineer or similar role with expertise in network infrastructure and protocols, system administration, virtualization technologies, and cloud computing platforms.
  • Security+ certification and experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud computing platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and management, leadership, and mentoring acumen.
Salary and Benefits

We offer an estimated annual salary of $120,000 - $150,000 based on location, experience, and qualifications.
