We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Pharmacy Customer Service Associate to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, processing prescriptions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Process prescriptions, including retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs, verifying medicine is correct, and checking for possible interactions.
- Assist pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining work flow, including utilizing pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information.
- Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records.
- Perform duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager, including handling telephone calls and processing manual claims for third party program prescription services.
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
- Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
- Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
