Key Responsibilities- Assist in the individualized care of patients to achieve their highest level of wellness
- Work cooperatively with other healthcare professionals as part of a team
- Perform designated clinical procedures and nonclinical support tasks essential to providing care to patients
- Provide direct patient care activities for all age groups, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Graduated from an approved or accredited school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Eligible to take board of nursing exam
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or completion of a course within the probation period
Stand and walk most of the time on duty. Meet unit-specific physical demands. Significant amount of bending and stooping, as well as lifting and turning patients with assistance. May be required to work differing schedules, shifts, days of the week, or work frequency according to patient care requirements. High risk exposure to blood and body fluids.
Skills and Qualities- Uphold and role model behaviors of professionalism
- Remain knowledgeable in advances in the healthcare environment through continuing education
