Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with safety and security measures to ensure the well-being of clients
  • Provide companionship and engage in activities that promote mental and emotional well-being
  • Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and transportation as needed
  • Remind clients of medication schedules and provide support with daily routines
  • Collaborate with clients and their families to develop personalized care plans
  • Document client progress and report any concerns to the care team

Requirements:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull 25 pounds
  • Vaccinated for COVID-19
  • Able to read and write in English
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Pass a background screening and drug test

Work Environment:

Home Instead caregivers work in the homes of seniors, providing one-on-one support and companionship. This role requires flexibility and a willingness to work in a variety of settings.
