The Role
We are seeking an Emergency Department Technician to join our team at Bethesda East hospital.
Job Summary
The Emergency Department Technician will provide basic technical patient care skills under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe and quality patient care in collaboration with an assigned RN
- Function as a valued member of the patient care team
- Perform basic technical skills such as vital sign collection and ECG monitoring
- Assist with patient transfers and transportation
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- EMT, CNA, or Medical Assistant certification a plus
- Basic Life Support certification required
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary range of $15.00/hr - $22.13/hr depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
