Job Title: Adjunct Instructor - Economics

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach Economics courses at Texas Southmost College. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to teaching and student success, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach Economics courses to students at Texas Southmost College
  • Develop and implement course syllabi that align with college and departmental requirements
  • Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance student learning and success

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or higher in Economics or a related field
  • Teaching experience in a comprehensive community college setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong commitment to teaching and student success

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in enhancing student learning through innovative teaching methods
  • Collaborative experience with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
