Job Summary

The Dishwasher is a vital member of our back-of-house team, responsible for maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment. This role involves washing and sanitizing all tableware, smallwares, serving materials, and cooking equipment. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a friendly, positive attitude, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and long hours.


Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and pleasant atmosphere in the kitchen and other work areas.
  • Operate the dish washing machine, ensuring it is set up, loaded, run, and cleaned regularly.
  • Manually wash and scrub dishes that do not fit in the machine, ensuring they are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
  • Empty all trash cans and remove them to the appropriate dumpsters.
  • Report any safety hazards or unsafe conditions/practices to management immediately.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be 18 or over.
  • Kitchen experience preferred but not required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a friendly, positive attitude.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, some holidays, and long hours.
