We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our team at Deaconess Midtown Hospital. This role is essential for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment.
Certification Requirements- Licensure: Current Indiana license or active compact license preferred.
- Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS must be current and attached upon submission.
- Role: Medical Surgical / Telemetry Registered Nurse.
- Work Hours: Guaranteed 36 hours per week, with the option to accept 48 hours upon request.
- Charting: Recent EPIC experience is required; a checkoff class will be necessary.
- Candidate Qualities: We are looking for hard-working, resilient individuals who manage change effectively and possess strong interpersonal skills.
- Uniform: Navy blue scrubs are required.
- Covid-19 Vaccination: Not mandatory at this time, subject to change.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Med/Surg (2 years preferred).
- Travel Experience: At least 1 travel assignment is required.
- Trauma Experience: Must have experience in a trauma level 1 or 2 facility.
- Telemetry Experience: Highly preferred.
- Contract Duration: 20 weeks (15 weeks accepted if covering holiday periods).
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
- Floating: Will be the first to float between campuses and may float to additional locations.
- Weekend/Holiday: Required to work every other weekend and holiday.
This position is within a Level II Trauma Facility and a Teaching Facility, providing acute care services.
Additional NotesGSA hours are not guaranteed during the orientation week. Travelers are guaranteed set hours per week, except during holiday closures.
