The Dispatcher plays a vital role in ensuring seamless communication between customers and technicians. As the central hub of communication, this position requires exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities- Dispatch service jobs to technicians in a timely and efficient manner.
- Rout technicians' schedules to maximize productivity and fairness.
- Communicate appointment times and service details to customers.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support.
- Collaborate with technicians and administrative staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Establish follow-ups for return visits and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Stay up-to-date with dispatch software and company systems.
- Provide backup support to the Branch Manager as needed.
- Work rotational on-call shifts to ensure 24/7 coverage.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of dispatching experience.
- Previous experience in the HVAC and/or food service industry is a plus.
- Detailed, dependable, and honest professional with strong typing and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and verbal/written communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills and ability to multitask.
- Motivated, self-started, and able to follow through on duties with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work rotational on-call shifts.
- Competitive pay for experience.
