Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Therapist to join our interdisciplinary treatment team at Dallas Behavioral Healthcare Hospital. As an Outpatient Mental Health Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality therapy services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team.
  • Provide group and individual therapy sessions to patients with various mental health needs.
  • Contribute to discharge planning and ensure a smooth transition for patients.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, psychology).
  • Valid Texas Therapist (LMFT, LMSW, LPC, LCSW) license in good standing.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in a behavioral healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication, assessment, and evaluation skills.
  • Knowledge of psychiatric and addictive disease diagnoses and treatment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced knowledge and clinical skills in diagnosis and treatment of mental health.
  • Knowledgeable of patient rights and laws pertaining to mental health.
  • Basic PC skills, including Microsoft Office and Windows Operating System.
